Madrasssa or terrorists nurseries

Being a Media student it is my soul duty to investigate the controversial matters.That why I investigated the accusation on Pakistani madrasa for breeding terrorism only to find out an unexpected the result.

 Madariss are an essential part of ]Islamic society since the time of the beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH).In medieval age this education system has generated the mightiest scientists. Today’s advancement in the ground of science and technology stands on the bases of the work done by such scientists. The same madrasas are responsible for preserving the ancient knowledge, or translating it. After 9-11 America launched his war against terrorism. The Madrasas of Soviet invasion time accused of breeding terrorism. Point to be noted they were the same madrasas who were appreciated by the America at the time of soviet Invasion. This situation rang bells. Pakistan is an Islamic republic country. According to the CIA World factbook and oxford center for Islamic studies 95-97% of the total population of Pakistan is Muslim. That why almost everyone in pakistan has studied in some Madrasas in order to gain some basic knowledge of the Quran and Islam. In muslim's daily life there are many occasions on which they have to concern with a Molvi(religious scholar) . E.g. when one is getting married a Molvi is invited to perform the Nikkah. When a baby came into this world again Molvi is called to say Adhan in the ears of newly born baby. When someone dies Molvi says his funeral prayer. Then for Quran khowani  also the madrassa’s students or in Arabic “The Taliban” are called. There are almost 3 million Madrasas students and over 35000 Madariss in Pakistan. These statistics makes the Madrassa system the largest network of non-Governmental organizations in Pakistan. Now if we go through the international and local news. We realize that all these Madariss and the students are terrorists? This can’t be true right? Because we live in-between these Molvis. Our children get their Islamic education from them. We say our prayers behind the same Molvi Imam sb . So the question is where is the problem?

According to my findings America has private defense contractors. These companies have to find an enemy of the American nation in order to keep their business running. History tells us America always had an enemy in the world. e.g. Cherokee, France, Great Britain, Mexico, Soviet Union or Russian Federation, Cuba, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and now China. Secondly Islam and Muslims are soft targets, they know that we have a lot of resources but our inner conflicts made us weaker. Now a day wars are different from the past. They are full of propaganda. Media is a crucial part of these wars. That’s why international Universities offer a special program for this purpose by the name of “media and information warfare”. Once the Information war is launched you cannot get the real information by any means of main stream media weather it is news channels or Internet. In order to get the right information you have to collect it by yourself working on ground. 

In my documentary I have visited 10 to 15 Madrasas in Mardan city, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, wahcantt , Chitral I talked to them; I interviewed them on and off the camera. I spent 38 hours continuously in a Madrasa to understand their routine and mind set. I also met the alumni of these Madariss who are successful in their lives and working in Government or private institutes. I Interviewed Senator Siraj-ul-haq  who is Ameer jammat-e –Islami pakistan. then Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman who is former  member national assembly, Moti-ur-Rehman who is a Senior Research adviser in Federal  Shariate Court  They are highly paid individuals and are the part of our elite class society. I explored their thoughts on Madariss, Terrorism, and Islam.I also interviewed Amir rana who is Director of Pakistan institute of Peace studies as representative of Our Left wing.

I also explored the Main stream media, read several articles and books. I also watched many documentaries on this topics by amateur film producers as well as documentaries from the big names like British broadcast company ( BBC), Dutch World (DW), Russia Today(RT).Aljazeera & AJ+.

I find out that there is a small ratio of madrassas involved in such activities .Madrassas are well aware of this situation and demand government to take action against such a Madariss. Other than that all madrassas and their management are committed to spread peace and harmony in the society. Because it is the true soul of religion Islam
